Mastering your emotions is the first step to 5th dimensional ascension. You might wonder how to do that with all the fear, anger and turmoil rolling across the Earth. For too long, humans have ignored and stuffed down painful emotions, and they are now boiling up like lobster in a pot.
You must allow these emotions to surface in order to heal them. What situations trigger your emotional response? What emotions are rising within you? Most negative emotions are the result of a perceived lack of control. Fear is the response when we don’t feel we have control. Anger is the response when we feel control has been taken from us. Examine each response and look within yourself to understand where these originate. Connect with Divine Source and bring within you unconditional love for self, and trust that you will be given guidance to provide for yourself all that you need.
You cannot control what anyone else says or does, you can only control your response. If someone is harming you, then fear is an appropriate response but use it to propel you into action. Anger can be turned into a boundary setting response. However, blame or shame will only keep you connected to the other person’s energy and does nothing to help you. Forgiveness should be turned inward as a self-loving gesture to let go of that connection.
Mastering your emotions is allowing yourself the space to feel, but then to step into a state of neutrality. This leaves a space for self-love and boundaries. Negativity from another is about them, not you. The best emotion to master is that of joy, and the knowingness that you are capable of supporting yourself no matter what the circumstance.
