Garden Of Delight

My little garden is such a delight.  Approximately 20ft x 20ft, a bit of paradise along an urban street.  Sitting outside and viewing the beauty, along with butterflies and bees doing their thing, never fails to relax me.  I feel as though I am being renewed along with the Earth.

I add a little each year, as some things don’t survive the winter or are just weakened.  Other plants, well, they seem to think it is their turn to outdo the rest.  I like their sense of competition.  We have two planters out front, along the sidewalk, and this year I planted a small crop of vegetables.  Squash, tomatoes, green beans, cucumbers, lettuce and onions.  In my little rooftop garden box, the cilantro and basil are adding to the fun.
